Reading Crematorium and Henley Rd Cemetery - 2025 Cemetery Extension -Consultant

Reading Borough Council is seeking a multi-disciplinary design and management consultant team to deliver the Henley Road Cemetery Extension project, which will secure burial capacity beyond 2030. The scope covers RIBA Stages 1–6, including design development, planning and statutory approvals, project management, construction support, environmental permitting, and a three-year Tier 3 groundwater monitoring programme. The consultant will coordinate all required disciplines, manage stakeholder engagement, and navigate the sensitive planning and environmental context to ensure successful delivery of this strategically important project.
