Review of the extension of right to vote and change to qualification for membership of the Senedd

Welsh Government has awarded a contract worth £41,680 to Thinks Insight and Strategy for research supporting statutory reporting on the Senedd and Elections (Wales) Act 2020. The project will deliver a mixed-methods study assessing the implementation and impact of franchise reforms through evidence review, qualitative engagement with young voters, foreign citizens, councillors and stakeholders, with a final bilingual report due by November 2026.
