Service of the site Gate monitoring system

Sellafield Limited has awarded a contract to Symetrica Security Limited for £91,500 to provide service and support for the Site Gate Monitoring System after its initial 12-month warranty expired in January 2025. The service includes remote and on-site response support to supplement Sellafield's internal technical staff, who will perform first and second line maintenance with appropriate training. The contract also encompasses provisioning of locally stored spare parts to enable the Sellafield team to maintain the system independently.
