Notice of Intention to Award under the Provider Selection Regime - Most Suitable Provider Process: Smoking Support within Community Mental Health Teams

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has awarded a contract worth £200,000 to Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust for the provision of smoking support within Community Mental Health Teams across Bradford District. The service will deliver evidence-based smoking cessation and harm-reduction support to service users under five Community Mental Health Teams, including behavioural support from trained Stop Smoking Practitioners, access to nicotine replacement therapy and vapes, and recording through Quit Manager, aligned to NICE NG209 guidance. The contract runs for an initial 18 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
