Masters in Public health Qualification - North

Health Education and Improvement Wales has awarded a contract worth £26,000 to the University of Liverpool for the delivery of a Master of Public Health qualification to resident doctors undertaking the Public Health Specialty Training Scheme in North Wales. The MPH is a mandatory component of specialty training that enables trainees to meet curriculum learning outcomes, regulatory requirements, and progress towards a Certificate of Completion of Training. The direct award was justified on technical grounds, as the University of Liverpool is the only provider capable of delivering an equivalent in-person programme at a suitable geographical location for North Wales-based trainees.
