Overview

Cefas seeks provision of a marine environmental survey vessel for a single mobilisation of up to 6 survey days in September or October 2026 to support monitoring activities within the Kentish Knock East Marine Protected Area. The vessel must be an MCA small workboat class Category 2 with A-frame or crane (400 kg safe working load) to deploy and recover autonomous underwater vehicles and sediment imaging equipment operated by Cefas, Natural England, and University of Southampton personnel as part of an MPA monitoring programme funded by Defra.
