Emergency Storage of a Class 360 train (1 x4 Car Units) and Storage of a Class 810 train (1 x 5 Car Units)

Transport UK East Midlands Limited awarded a contract to ALSTOM Engineering and Services Limited on 25 June 2026 for emergency storage and logistics support of a Class 360 train (1×4 car units) and a Class 810 train (1×5 car units) following an unforeseen railway incident. The scope includes provision of secure storage facilities, materials handling, access for recovery teams and short-term logistics coordination to support railway recovery works and operational reinstatement. The contract, valued at £465,418.30, was awarded under emergency procedures due to the urgent and unforeseeable nature of the incident and is now in delivery.
