Crisis Resilience Fund: Improving Financial Resilience through Employability Support programme

East Sussex County Council has awarded a £190,000 contract to East Sussex College Group to deliver the Crisis Resilience Fund programme, which supports financially struggling residents through employability and financial resilience training. The service provider will deliver functional skills training in IT, maths, and English, plus certificated learning in key skills such as construction site safety, food hygiene, and health and safety to at least 100 residents, while also helping participants access benefits, manage debt, and develop job-readiness skills. The contract commenced in June 2026 and is a partial continuation of a previous UK Shared Prosperity Fund project.
