Yotra - Google Transit Services Agreement

Transport for Greater Manchester has awarded a contract worth £375,000 to YOTRA LIMITED on 15 June 2026 for the Yotra Transit Services Agreement, enabling digital ticketing for concessionary and commercial travel schemes on the Bee Network. The contract covers integration with Google Wallet and mobile devices to allow customers to apply for, purchase, and access passes digitally via their phones and wearables, replacing the current physical ITSO smart card distribution process. This single-source procurement was necessary as only Yotra Ltd can facilitate the required integration with Google's technology platform.
