Service and Maintenance Contract for Genomic Sequencing Platform

Northumbria University awarded a 5-year service and maintenance contract to Pacific Biosciences of California on 9 June 2026 for support of a Revio genomic sequencing platform. The contract covers preventative maintenance, emergency engineering, certified replacement parts, consumables, and remote monitoring to ensure continuous high-availability operation of the sequencing instrumentation for molecular and bioscience research. As the sole authorized provider of proprietary technology and certified parts, Pacific Biosciences was the only eligible supplier for this specialized support agreement.
