Assessing the wider value of agri-environment scheme heritage actions for the natural environment and for people

Natural England commissioned CHAMBERLAINWALKER ECONOMICS LIMITED to assess the wider value and co-benefits of agri-environment scheme heritage actions, evaluating their contributions to biodiversity, soil health, water quality, carbon sequestration, heritage, landscape, and community engagement. The project, awarded at £37,400 in July 2026, involves a scoping review of evidence, a findings report, an infographic for non-technical audiences, and a webinar, with delivery by mid-March 2027.
