Provision of Additional Consultancy Services to Support the Delivery of a Door Access and CCTV Upgrade Scheme at Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership has awarded a contract worth £15,500 to James & Nicholas LLP for additional consultancy services supporting a door access and CCTV upgrade scheme at Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend. The scope includes production of coordination drawings for electrical, IT/data and fire alarm systems, stakeholder coordination, programme delivery meetings, integration with the installation contractor, and asbestos coordination activities. The services were directly awarded to the existing supplier due to additional requirements arising during delivery that were not foreseen at project outset, with continuity justified to avoid technical incompatibility, loss of site-specific knowledge, and delivery delays.
