Sports Centre Refurbishment

The University of Bradford awarded a contract worth £417,641 to Bermar Building Co Ltd on 3 June 2026 for refurbishment of the Sports Centre, including alterations to changing room and shower areas at Unique Fitness to address maintenance issues and increase capacity during busy periods. The work involves stripping existing finishes, wall alterations, replacement of mechanical and electrical fittings, new flooring, decoration, panelling, cubicles, and sanitaryware, with particular focus on the deteriorating grano main hall floor. The project is currently in delivery or complete.
