Electronic Patient Records System Contract Extension (VEAT Notification)

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a 24-month contract extension (with a possible further 12-month extension) to The Phoenix Partnership (Leeds) Limited for £193,321.83 to maintain continuous operation of its Electronic Patient Records system while a new competitive procurement is undertaken. The extension is justified under Regulation 32(5)(b) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 due to the critical nature of the existing system and the impracticality of switching suppliers in the short term, with a new EPR contract anticipated to be procured through the London Procurement Partnership Clinical Digital Health Solutions Framework by Q4 2027.
