Fuel Poverty and Energy Affordability

Wales & West Utilities Limited awarded a contract worth £626,967.13 to Sustainable Community Solutions Limited on 21 June 2026 for delivery of fuel poverty and energy affordability support across Devon and Torbay. The project provides in-person energy advice through home visits, hub drop-ins, energy advice centres, and community events, with maintained premises in Exeter and Paignton offering accessible face-to-face support. Services include carbon monoxide safety guidance, energy efficiency advice, Priority Services Register engagement, and support accessing emergency provisions and onward referrals, delivered by a team including specialist advisors and newly recruited roles focused on data, health, culture, and income generation.
