Clifford Whitworth extract fan replacement

The University of Salford has awarded a contract worth £170,590.56 to Environment & Power Technology Limited for the replacement of an extract ventilation fan at Clifford Whitworth that has reached the end of its serviceable life. The scope includes removal and replacement of the existing fan and motor, installation of new support framework, and removal or remediation of asbestos-containing materials suspected to be present in the work area. The contract is currently in delivery or complete as of May 2026.
