Overview

The Greater Manchester Combined Authority is procuring the next phase of the Restricted Eligibility Support Service to support migrants experiencing or at risk of homelessness, with a total estimated value of £1,297,460.59 running from September 2026 to March 2029. The service is split into two lots: Lot 1 provides specialist immigration and legal advice to help individuals regularise immigration status and access welfare benefits (£649,371.64), while Lot 2 delivers specialist floating support to help individuals engage with legal processes and access accommodation (£648,088.95). The programme aims to prevent rough sleeping, strengthen partnership responses, and deliver trauma-informed support for people with restricted eligibility for public funds, including those with No Recourse to Public Funds and unresolved immigration status.
