Overview

The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology has awarded a contract to RTC North Ltd for £1,270,400 to deliver the TechYouth programme in the North East, a regional delivery partner role for the Government's flagship digital and technology skills initiative. RTC North Ltd will deliver skills-building activities and career inspiration days to schools and colleges, working with local industry and academia to build digital and STEM capability among young people, particularly targeting underrepresented groups including girls and those from socioeconomic disadvantage. The programme aims to reach 1 million students across the UK to develop digital skills, build confidence with AI, and inspire future tech sector talent.
