Council House Air Source Heat Pump Enabling Package

Malvern Hills District Council awarded a contract worth £105,391 to GSM Limited on 3 May 2026 for mechanical and electrical upgrades at the Council House under the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. The works include replacing radiators, modifying pipework, installing thermostatic valves, rebalancing the heating system, diverting the mains cold water supply to a new storage tank with booster set, installing trace heating on external pipework, and providing LV electrical distribution for new plant. The contract encompasses full commissioning, operations and maintenance manuals, staff training, BIM-compliant record drawings, and phased delivery to maintain building occupancy while meeting CDM and health and safety standards.
