Acoustic Fish Tags and Receivers

The University of Portsmouth procured specialist acoustic telemetry equipment from R.S. AQUA LIMITED for £63,269.75 to support marine research, including underwater receivers, electronic tagging devices, and associated systems for monitoring and tracking marine species movement and habitat use. The equipment was selected for compatibility with established telemetry networks and to maintain continuity with previously deployed infrastructure, enabling high-resolution data collection on habitat connectivity and ecosystem function in a coastal marine environment as part of a grant-funded research project.
