University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a five-year contract worth £4.73 million to ResMed (UK) Limited for comprehensive respiratory therapy equipment, consumables, and clinical support services, including CPAP/BiPAP devices, non-invasive ventilation units, and remote monitoring solutions procured via the NHS SBS Respiratory Therapy Solution framework. The non-exclusive agreement supports the Trust's strategy to manage chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and sleep apnoea by enabling community-based care and reducing hospital readmissions, with no minimum volume commitments to allow flexibility over the contract term.
