Provision of Client Assisted Passenger Transport Services

Surrey County Council has awarded a contract worth £595.2 million for the provision of client-assisted passenger transport services, primarily for home to school transport for eligible students across the county. The contract was awarded on 9 July 2026 to 47 transport operators including taxi firms, coach companies, and community transport organisations. The services ensure that eligible students have access to safe, reliable, and subsidized transport to and from school in accordance with the Education Act 1996.
