Mine Water Treatment Schemes and Civil & Structural Engineering
Scoping, feasibility and design services to develop technical understanding of Mine Water Treatment Schemes (MWTS), alongside provision of civil and structural engineering expertise for both new and existing assets, including advice on asset performance, structural integrity and incident response.
£6,000,000Ecology and Environmental Services
Lot 2 Ecology and Environmental Services (multi-disciplinary) - Provision of ecological and environmental consultancy services to support assessment, design and delivery of projects, including surveys, environmental impact assessment, monitoring and regulatory compliance across operational and development sites. If bidding for this Lot, suppliers cannot bid for the set sub-lots. Lot 2a Ecology Surveys, Assessments and Reporting - Delivery of ecological surveys and specialist ecological services, including habitat surveys, protected species surveys, aquatic and vegetation surveys, and Ecological Clerk of Works support. Provision of ecological impact assessment and reporting, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRA) and biodiversity net gain / natural capital outputs. Lot 2b Environmental Monitoring, Compliance and Advisory - Coordination and delivery of strategic and project-level environmental assessment, including Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments and Environmental Statements. Specialist environmental services including environmental auditing, mine gas monitoring, permitting advice, environmental compliance support and development of mitigation and management strategies.

Lot 3 Treatability Services (multi-disciplinary) - Provide advice, optioneering and comparative studies across all appropriate mine water treatment options known to the Consultant (passive, semi-passive and active). If bidding for this Lot, suppliers cannot bid for the set sub-lots. Lot 3a Passive Treatability - Provide advice, optioneering and comparative studies across all appropriate mine water treatment options known to the Consultant (passive). Lot 3b Active Treatability - Provide advice, optioneering and comparative studies across all appropriate mine water treatment options known to the Consultant (active).
£900,000Consultancy, Planning and Delivery Oversight
Lot 4a Planning and Consents - Planning strategy, preparation and submission of planning applications, stakeholder engagement and management of planning approvals and regulatory requirements. Lot 4b Economic Assessment (Cost-Benefit Analysis) - Delivery of cost-benefit assessments and economic analysis, including environmental and social valuation, and development of tools and methodologies to support decision-making and business cases. Lot 4c Project and Programme Management (NEC PM / Supervisor) - Provision of NEC Project Manager and Supervisor roles, including contract administration, construction oversight and delivery assurance across new build and refurbishment projects. Lot 4d Cost Consultancy and Commercial Advisory - Cost estimation, buildability review, tender support and commercial advisory services to support project development and delivery.
