Liverpool Place Local Spacer Provision Service (Pharmacy)

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for provision of spacer devices through participating pharmacies in Liverpool, with the service completed as of November 2025. The contract, valued at £7,913.58 and awarded to 47 pharmacy providers including major chains and independent operators, enables pharmacists to supply spacer devices directly to patients to reduce demand on general practice prescribing and support management of long-term respiratory conditions. The service operates on an activity-based model with a single activity fee of £3.61 per transaction.
