Repairs & Resurfacing

Castle Point Borough Council has awarded a three-year contract worth £3,340,000 to Marlborough Highways Limited for resurfacing and associated maintenance works across its owned land and assets, including roads, car parks, footpaths, and open spaces. The scope encompasses both planned programmes and reactive repairs, including resurfacing, new path creation, road and car park markings, and drainage infrastructure maintenance with CCTV surveys. The contract, which commenced following award on 12 July 2026, provides a structured delivery model to improve maintenance, safety, accessibility, and responsiveness across the Authority's estate, with options to extend for up to two additional one-year periods.
