Design Lead for Linwood School Satellite Expansion

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council awarded a contract worth £239,450 to Kendall Kingscott Limited on 1 July 2026 for a Design Lead to oversee the conversion of the former Parkfield School site into a satellite campus of Linwood Special School. The role involves acting as Principal Designer under CDM 2015 and the Building Safety Act 2022, leading specialist consultants through RIBA stages 2–6 to adapt the building for Key Stage 2 through 5 pupils with autism spectrum and social-emotional and mental health needs. The architect will work with the council's client team to procure additional professional advisors for design, specification, and project management.
