eDNA for water frogs around Lynford Lakes, Norfolk

Natural England has awarded a contract to NATURE METRICS LTD for £14,114 to conduct eDNA sampling across water bodies near Lynford Lakes, Norfolk to determine the presence and distribution of invasive marsh frogs that pose a threat to the critically endangered native northern pool frog population. The survey will map marsh frog presence and absence to support management control decisions, with sampling progressing from areas near native pool frog habitats westward to minimize disease risk.
