Open Framework for the Provision of Transportation of Children, Young People & Adults (Up to 8 Passenger seat Vehicles)

Blackpool Borough Council has awarded an open framework agreement for the provision of transportation services using vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats for children, young people, and adults, including those with special educational needs. Six operators were appointed: Blackpool Cabs Ltd, Blacktax Radio Taxis Limited, Brown Cabs, Premier Cabs (Blackpool) Limited, Red Cab Taxis Limited, and Red Cab Taxis Ltd, with a contract value of £10.8 million. The framework covers school transport during academic term times and on-demand transport services for council-authorised officers, with routes allocated via mini-competition and call-off orders.
