Lancashire Hill Regeneration Strategy
- Published
- Published 9 April 2026
Overview
Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) is seeking to collaborate with a consultant team to identify a preferred option for the regeneration of Lancashire Hill - a social housing estate neighbouring Stockport's town centre.
This project aims to create a high-level route map for delivering the preferred option and develop an outline business case for delivery. The site in question presents a unique opportunity to deliver urgently needed improvements to the quality of housing on the estate and create homes suited to the current and future needs of the community with improved connectivity to the town centre and the opportunities being created there by Stockport's transformational regeneration programme.
