4-year Fellowship - endpoint toxicity for a mixture of chemicals

The Food Standards Agency has awarded a 4-year research fellowship to the University of Birmingham (£663,565) to assess endpoint toxicity of chemical mixtures in food using in-silico and in-vitro New Approach Methodologies. The project, part of the wider ChemRA Research and Evidence Programme, aims to protect consumers from chemical hazards by evaluating human-relevant toxicological endpoints and developing improved data systems for cross-government collaboration.
