Overview

Provision of a Children’s Rights Support Service to support Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council to promote and embed children’s rights in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The service provides specialist, independent advice, challenge, training and participation support to Children and Young People’s Services, elected members and wider stakeholders. The service requires a high level of independence, credibility and trust, developed through long standing relationships with children and young people and Council officers. Continuity of delivery is critical to maintaining these relationships and ensuring effective outcomes.
