The UK Health Security Agency has awarded a £1.6 million contract to Global Health Development for the EMPHENT Collaboration Agreement, a three-year partnership (2026–2029) supporting public health capabilities in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The contract continues the International Health Regulations Strengthening Project, an Official Development Assistance programme funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, to strengthen IHR 2005 compliance across Africa, Asia, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East.
