Appointment and Management of the Multi-Disciplinary Design Team for GYBC Cremator Plant Replacement and Site Expansion

Great Yarmouth Borough Council appointed Gentoo Project Management Limited (£134,268.25) on 23 April 2026 to manage the multidisciplinary design team for the cremator plant replacement and site expansion project at Great Yarmouth Crematorium. The role involves recruiting and coordinating the design team, integrating the cremator equipment manufacturer's requirements, and delivering designs for new facilities including a control room, viewing area, automatic charging bier, ergonomic ash processing areas, improved waiting facilities, and an enlarged crematory. The contract is now complete and in delivery.
