Overview

Hywel Dda University Health Board's (HDUHB) Digital Directorate have awarded a contract to replace their Wireless Access Points (WAP) hardware and associated licencing as current equipment throughout HDUHB has now reached end of life and some equipment will be utilised to setup Carmarthen Hwb. These WAPs are critical pieces of infrastructure that form the backbone of all services within the Health Board, as almost every digital clinical system and medical devices relies on Wi-Fi connections to function.
