Replacement of Bridge Bearings and Expansion Joint - Harrow Manorway Abbey Wood Flyover Spans 1 to 5

London Borough of Bexley awarded EKSPAN LIMITED a contract worth £891,301 on 10 May 2026 to remove and replace 36 bridge bearings and an expansion joint at the A2041 Harrow Manorway Abbey Wood Flyover, with the contractor designing 16 of the bearings for Spans 1 to 4 while the client's consultant designed 20 bearings for Spans 4/5. The scope includes extensive concrete repairs and temporary works to facilitate bearing removal and installation across Spans 1 to 5.
