Overview

This service focuses on preventing rough sleeping wherever possible and ensuring that, where prevention is not successful, rough sleeping does not become repeated or prolonged. Its aim is to intervene early, reduce the risk of people sleeping rough, and support coordinated action so that individuals do not cycle back into homelessness. The service will take a coordination role across the partnership, organising and aligning activity to strengthen the prevention of rough sleeping. It will work closely with services that support people at risk of, or experiencing, rough sleeping to ensure that approaches, pathways and responses are joined up and effective.
