Framework for Supply of Lipids

CENTRE FOR PROCESS INNOVATION LIMITED has established a framework for the supply of lipids to support R&D, pilot-scale, and GMP activities across multiple centres, with scope including ionisable lipids, helper lipids, cholesterol, PEGylated lipids, and functionalised lipids for lipid nanoparticle development in various grades and formats. The framework, valued at £4 million, was awarded on 14 June 2026 to four suppliers: Medchemtronica AB, North England Laboratory Supplies, Stratech Scientific Ltd, and Tebu-bio Ltd, and includes ancillary services such as technical support, Certificates of Analysis, GMP documentation, and temperature-controlled logistics.
