The Provision of Adventurous Training Instructor (ATI) Support

The Ministry of Defence awarded a contract worth £4,000,000 to Capita Business Services Limited on 20 May 2026 to provide qualified civilian adventurous training instructors for Joint Service Adventurous Training (JSAT) and the Adventurous Leadership and Resilience Training (ALeRT) programme across UK and overseas locations. The instructors will deliver leadership and resilience training through activities including mountaineering, sailing, kayaking, caving, and mountain biking to enhance Service Personnel capability. The initial two-year contract includes an option to extend for a further two years and requires instructors to hold relevant qualifications and meet MOD safety and security standards.
