Anti-Racism Training for Senior Leadership Teams

Published
Published 11 February 2026

Overview

The Welsh Local Government Association has commissioned a provider to design and deliver bespoke equality training with specific focus on anti-racism but set within the context of intersectionality with other protected characteristics. The training is aimed at senior managers in councils to further develop their understanding of this field and to enable them to progress anti-racism policies and practices in a supportive and inclusive environment. The WLGA recognises that council leadership plays a critical strategic role in setting the culture and tone of the organisation and providing demonstrative commitment to drive systemic change and promote anti-racism practices throughout local government.
