Overview

The Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract to Army Gliding Club (Wyvern) for the provision of UK-based gliding training in support of the Army Adventurous Training Centre and Joint Service Adventurous Training programme. The service provider will deliver British Gliding Association-compliant pilot training for 72 annual course places with optional capacity for 12 additional places, conducted between May and September each year at a licensed Defence Safety Authority-certified airfield, and will supply infrastructure, equipment, instructors, and aircraft.
