LIFE R4ever Kent Project (LIFE20 NAT/UK/001001013) - River Kent SSSI Condition Monitoring - White-clawed Crayfish

Natural England awarded a contract to PBA Applied Ecology Limited for £28,978.94 to conduct Common Standards Monitoring-compliant assessment of white-clawed crayfish (Austropotamobius pallipes) in the River Kent SSSI, South Cumbria, as part of the LIFE R4ever Kent project. The work will inform a Whole Feature Assessment and SSSI Unit condition assessment for this internationally important population, representing the first coordinated, catchment-wide CSM-compliant survey of the feature.
