Splunk

The University of Kent has awarded a contract to Somerford Associates Limited for the renewal of its Splunk software licence, awarded on 21 January 2026. The renewal continues Kent's Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) service with Somerford, who as an Elite Splunk Professional Services Partner provide support, design, and implementation services, along with additional benefits including system health checks, training sessions, and access to a dedicated service desk. The contract value is £29,684.44 excl. VAT and is now in delivery to maintain the university's critical security and monitoring capabilities.
