The Department for Transport appointed eight supplier organizations to establish an Expert Advisory Group to provide technical bus franchising expertise to Local Authorities through their franchising processes. The appointed suppliers—Grant Thornton UK LLP, Jacobs U.K. Limited, Northstar Consultancy Limited, Ove Arup & Partners Limited, Rebel Infrastructure Assets & Operations UK Ltd, Steer Davies & Gleave Limited, Systra Limited, and Walnutworks Ltd—will support DfT in developing best practice tools and templates while building capability and capacity among local transport authorities.
