Timber Preservation and Dampness Remedial Works

Falkirk Council awarded a framework agreement for timber preservation and dampness remedial works across its tenanted and void housing properties to four contractors: Firstcall Trade Services Ltd, Peter Cox Ltd, Procast Building Contractors Ltd, and Richardson & Starling, with a contract value of £9.45 million. The framework covers two lots: remedial works to occupied properties including survey (Lot 1) and remedial works to void properties including full property survey (Lot 2), with contractors responsible for proposing treatment programmes to address dampness, condensation, rot, and related damage.
