C023PA - Waste reduction behaviour change targeted programme

Essex County Council awarded D2D Distribution Limited a £222,000 contract on 27 May 2026 to deliver a waste reduction behaviour change targeted programme comprising two projects. Project One involves distributing food caddy liners, information leaflets, and bin stickers to between 200,000 and 391,000 eligible households across nine waste collection areas to increase food waste recycling. Project Two targets purpose-built flats across two waste collection areas with food caddy liners and information leaflets to divert food waste from residual waste streams.
