The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership Ltd has awarded a contract to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health for the National Neonatal Audit Programme, a three-year clinical audit service for NHS-funded care in England, Wales, Scotland and the Isle of Man with a core value of £1,027,500 excluding VAT. The audit will deliver high-quality information on neonatal healthcare outcomes and organization through near real-time data, annual reports, quality improvement resources, and outlier identification, benchmarked against NICE standards and supporting healthcare providers to reduce clinical variation. The contract commenced in May 2026 with potential for two-year extension and aspirational enhancements bringing the ceiling value to £8,069,908 including VAT.
