Kings Hall repairs and refurbishment Architect and Design Team

Canterbury City Council appointed DK-CM LIMITED on 5 March 2026 to provide architect and design team services for the Kings Hall repairs and refurbishment project in Herne Bay, valued at £140,900. The scope includes reviewing and developing concept designs, leading a full multidisciplinary design team through RIBA Stages 2–7, coordinating structural and M&E engineering, acting as Principal Designer under CDM Regulations, and delivering a complete turnkey design package for a historic seafront venue refurbishment comprising fabric repairs, mechanical and electrical upgrades, remodelling, and a new bar/café facility. The contract commenced in April 2026 for a two-year period.
