Asbestos Consultancy and Removal/Remediation Framework

Cardiff University has established a framework agreement for asbestos consultancy and removal/remediation services, valued at £490,000, awarded on 17 May 2026 to six suppliers: Environtec Limited, Cabot Thermals Limited, Envirocall Limited, and Life Environmental Services Limited. The framework covers two lots: asbestos consultancy services including surveying, analysis, bulk sampling, and air monitoring (requiring UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017); and asbestos removal/remediation services including planned licensed removal, non-licensed work, emergency callouts, and decontamination support, all requiring HSE licensing and compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
