One Council Operating Model Transformation

Derbyshire County Council awarded a contract to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP on 29 April 2026 for £5,000,002 to design and implement a strategic operating model transformation programme. The programme spans five areas including support function consolidation, organisation design, customer experience digitisation, children's services automation, and procurement spend reduction, with an estimated financial benefit of £42.7 million. The provider is delivering an implementation-ready package and full implementation, incorporating knowledge transfer and accounting for Local Government Reorganisation scheduled for April 2028.
