East Coast Hydrogen Specialist Services Framework Lot 6

Northern Gas Networks Limited has awarded a framework agreement for Lot 6 – Design Validation and Assurance services supporting the East Coast Hydrogen programme, a major infrastructure initiative to develop a hydrogen transmission and distribution network across the North East of England. The awarded suppliers (14 organizations including Baringa Partners, KPMG, Arup, Turner & Townsend, and others) will provide independent technical assurance of engineering design outputs across FEED, DEVEX, and subsequent project phases, including validation of design compliance, safety integrity review, and stage-gated assurance. Deliverables include assurance reports, validation statements, and corrective action tracking to ensure designs are safe, compliant, constructable, and fit for purpose.
